ARTHRITIS  SUPPORT AGAINST PAIN (A.S.A.P) West Fife

ASAP is a support group which aims to help people with many different forms of Arthritis.

We have no discrimination, all are welcome to come along and listen, join in, offer and seek advice.

AIMS;

  • To show care and support to other sufferers.
  • To raise public awareness of the needs of people suffering from arthritis.
  • To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of people in West Fife who are suffering from Arthritis Conditions.
  • To invite guest speakers to inform the group about matters relating to their conditions and other subjects of interest.
  • To have ‘fun’ evenings where we can socialise and make new friends.
  • To provide support for carers and family members.
  • To develop new skills.
  • To offer sufferers an opportunity to talk with people in a similar condition and gain possible solutions to problems that they may have encountered during their period of coming to terms with this illness.
Our speakers include;

Consultants, O.T’s, Physiotherapists and many more.

WHEN?  FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EVERY MONTH

TIME?  7 – 9 pm

A membership fee of £1.50 is collected every month

HOW DO I GO ABOUT JOINING?

Visitors are more than welcome to come along to any meeting night and see if this group can be of any use to them
