Fifes Private Sector Housing Improvement Group welcome comments and suggestions for the review of the Private Sector Approach document and Action Plan. |

| The purpose of the Private Sector Approachis to detail and prioritise issues around the condition and management of owner occupied and private rented housing for the Fife Local Housing Strategy. It promotes owners’ responsibilities for maintaining housing in their ownership, and delivering high quality management where a property is tenanted.
This approach is a revision of that approved by Fife Housing Partnership and Housing & Communities Committee in May 2009. The majority of the update has been informed by recent Fife research concentrating specifically on management and condition. The consultation questions can be found in the relevant boxes throughout the document to note your responses. Please feel free to focus on the areas that you are interested in, though we would be grateful if you answer as many questions as possible. We are also happy to receive comments in any type of format so not restricting you to only the questions being asked. The documents are also available on Fife Direct using the links below.
