Our aim has always been to give disabled people the freedom and confidence to make their own decisions about which venues are accessible for their own specific requirements.
We have begun exciting online steering groups so you can tell us your thoughts…..
Online:
When you log onto www.disabledgo.com you will be greeted by our homepage, it is here that you will find details about latest news, joining our mailing list, facebook and twitter updates and of course the community forum. The community forum allows for people to discuss topics relating to access or disability with people from all over the UK and Ireland or closer to home in your area.
Signing In:
Registration to the forum must be verified, therefore we request you register one working day before the Steering Group. This can be done by clicking on the DisabledGo forum link found towards the bottom of the home page at www.disabledgo.com and selecting register below the list of topics. You will chose a user name and password and you will be sent an automated email confirming that you are a member of the forum. This must be done before you take part in an online steering group.
How you can take part:
By selecting your local town from the topic choices in the community forum you can take part in the DisabledGo-Fife Steering Group. There are currently topics that have been raised for discussion and waiting for your opinion, you can also raise topics of your own to be discussed with other people in your local community. However Kimberley Dixon, Partnership Executive from DisabledGo will only be online on the following date and time to answer your queries, and to join in with any discussions. Please let us know if you be available to join in the group by responding to this email, filling your details in on the invite attached or giving us a call, please also specify any specific requirements if necessary.
