New Ring and Ride Service in Dunfermline

The new Ring and Ride Service that will commenced today, 15th January 2007, in Dunfermline.

Ring & Ride is a service offering door to door travel, operating within a defined area, for those who find it difficult or impossible to use ordinary buses. This difficulty can be permanent or temporary, physical, mental or sensory. Travel in the Dunfermline area can be anytime between 8.00am and 10.00pm.

To use this service individuals need to contact the Ring & Ride office, 01592 760067, to register. Journeys must be booked a day in advance of travel and can be booked between 9.30am and 2.30pm, Monday to Friday, and 9.30am and 11.00am on a Sunday.

The service is free for concessionary cardholders, and should an individual require to be accompanied, their companion also travels free. Other passengers pay 80p for a single journey.
