I take one 1000mg of effervescent vitamin C per day, I put it in water in the morning and that helps me take the rest of the tablets, I find Asda`s own make very palatable and reasonable priced one evening primrose 1000mg I don’t know if that’s a woman thing and one Echinacea that’s for the immune system.

The Energy Challenge
The Energy Challenge is a partnership between Energy Action Scotland and Community Service Volunteers (CSV) in Scotland and is funded by ExxonMobil. The Challenge aims to provide information and support to householders across Scotland to help them manage their fuel bills, save energy and keep warm in their homes. Members of the CSV's Retired and Senior Volunteer Programme (RSVP) have received energy awareness training from Energy Action Scotland, making them 'Energy Champions'. This leaflet is specially designed to help the volunteers provide information and advice on energy matters to people within the community.

A KIRKCALDY man has joined forces with bus giants Stagecoach to help hard of hearing travellers enjoy more pleasant journeys. Jack Carr, of Fife Independent Disability Network Disability Network (FIDN), spearheads a scheme which will allow sensory impaired bus users to ask drivers for help, without drawing attention to their disability.

Disabled people over the age of 18 and their immediate family members can access the service. “Your Call” is available on 0808 801 03 62 and is staffed by trained disabled counsellors. Callers should dial the free phone number to make an initial appointment (calls are free from all landlines and most mobile phone networks).

This site has been set up to make it easy for everyone to find out what services there are for people with Learning Disabilities/Difficulties (LD) in their local area, or any area, just by clicking the map or typing in a postcode.
