These four practice guides explore how telecare can contribute to the support, protection and quality of life of people with a learning disability, sensory impairment, physical disability or dementia. they have been written for assessors, cre and support staff and their managers, telecare service managers and development staff.

Each guide provides impartial advice on some of the telecare devices currently available, along with sections on assessment and ethics. The guides also include a training programme on how telecare can contribute to the care and support of each of the three groups featured.
