Rabbit Braes Community Park Kirkcaldy16-06-2010

The video is 6.29 minutes long

The walk is around 1.5 miles long.

I used my Sony Ericsson Satio mobile phone to take the video.

I took the video when I was doing a ramble through the Rabbit Braes Community Park Kirkcaldy on my scooter with my dog Jasper on the 16th of June 2010.

The walk starts near the South end of Broom Road and goes via Lomond Gardens up to Bennochy Road from which there is a great view over the East side of Kirkcaldy, then back to where I had parked my car near the junction of Broom road and Bennochy Road.

The video is 6.29 minutes long but the walks may take a bit longer ( The walk I did is around 2.360km long). I was taking photo`s aswell using the same camera so i could not do both.

If you are interested in seeing some of the photo`s I have made up some calendars using the photo`s of this walk and other walks I have done, which can be viewed at http://www.fidn.co.uk/Adverts/Roberts... .
This is not a shop and I am not a professional, the calenders are not professional printed in bulk. I have a good quality home printer which prints off good quailty photo`s which I use for the calendar`s.

I feel the cost of the calendar`s are quite high, but due to only having a home printer (and the ink can be expensive) and not printing in bulk (nor really wish to) and having to put everthing together by hand which all takes time. I am hoping to make some money out of making the calendars but if the calendar don`t sell for what I am asking for then I will just not make them.

The calendar`s contains photo`s taken around Lochgelly, Fife where I live and Kirkcaldy which has a lot of nice walk`s.

My Video`s of my Lochgelly North East walk 30-08-2010

This video is about 50 minutes long.

The walk is about 4 miles long.

I used my Sony Ericsson Satio mobile phone to take the video.

I started this video at the car park near the bottom of the Lochgelly Public park and ended back there.

I went up the through the public park to The Avenue then turned to the east down The Avenue to it`s very bottom and not just the the round-about which some may think it finishes but past the round-about past the Andrew Antennas factory. I went to the right past there to where there is a right-of-way to Dundonald (which is not in a very good condition) and the new Motor sports centre, then back to the left past the New Farm (thats what it`s called) to the Lisa Brae (the main road joining Lochgelly to Cardenden, Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy.

At this Junction I turn to the left and over the bridge into a farm road to the left. I follow this road past two farms (the Easter Colquhally and the Wester Colquhally). I take you to the Cartmore Industrail Estate then back past the Wester Colquhally farm and up a path that take you under a railway bridge past a scrap car yard, up the north east side of Lochgelly where you can get a great view of the Lomond Hills and over Auchterderran Road and into the North side of the Public Park and to where we started the walk.

My video of my Lochgelly Industrial Estate and Public Park walk 21-08-2010

This video is about 21 minutes long.

This walk is around 1.12 mile long.

I used my Sony Ericsson Satio mobile phone to take the video.

I started this video at the car park near the bottom of the Lochgelly Public park and ended back there.

I went up the through the public park to The Avenue then turned to the east and down to the into the entrance into the Lochgelly Industrial Estate. When you get in here the road goes straight ahead, but the road ahead is blocked to stop traveling people parking up and staying in the area that has been made ready for new units to be built.

So to get past this blockage you need to go around the units that are there, but that can be rough going on a scooter which you will see in the video. Once you get around the units you hae to go over rough ground and a part built road which has broken glass on it.

Once you get past this and onto the road you`ll find it is a bit rough. Continue along this road to a power unite and turn up to the left through trees, this will take you back into the public park (this path through the trees may change shortly due to a path maybe getting built there by Lomond Homes to connect the Lomond Homes housing estate to the rest of Lochgelly).
